Odyssey Authors aims to be the only site you'll ever need to indulge your desire to write. We offer a wide variety of writing styles to suit everyone's tastes, and if there's ever anything you want that we don't have just ask and you'll see how ready we are to get you writing.
Your Writing Published (no, really)
Odyssey Authors is a site for authors of all levels who are striving to see their writing published. We offer Role-playing, writing contests (with cash prizes!), and other various forms of writing including a style we've created called an Odyssey. Everyone who posts on Odyssey Authors is likely to see their writing in books we publish ourselves and distribute to the masses. That's right! We take your writing directly from the site and publish it (with your permission, of course). Finally, all this excellent writing you've been doing won't just sit on forums collecting cyber-dust. People from all over the world will read your works both online and offline. And we're not talking about some spiral-bound piece of junk, but a real paperback book. Spine and all.
Creativity Unleashed
The world's most beautiful minds aren't all celebrated physicists who spend their days dusting Nobel Prizes, we're all stuck in creative limbo. We have ideas and visions that others couldn't begin to comprehend, yet we're stuck at dead-end jobs without the time to devote to a writing career. Or maybe we have the time but nobody will take us seriously because we aren't already published somewhere. Well, Odyssey Authors breaks both of those barriers in one blow. We have no activity requirements, and most of our writing boards require no commitments. You could post once on an Odyssey story and still end up in one of our books. For those of us who enjoy role-playing we offer a literally unlimited realm to explore. If there isn't a Role-playing Setting that suits you, just Create Your Own!
Easy as Pie
Experienced role-players or veteran forum prowlers will have no trouble at all using our site, and everything is laid out so intuitively that even someone who's never used a forum before ought to be able to find their way around. We suggest you start by reading all of the forum descriptions. Once you've found a forum or two that interests you just click on its name and you'll be taken to a page dedicated to that style of writing. From there you'll find a post at the top of the board that will give you all the information you'll need about that kind of writing. If you ever get lost you can post on our Questions and Suggestions forum if you already have an account, or our Guest Board if you don't. We have staff members standing by to help you with anything you may need. So what are you waiting for? Register for an account and start writing!

If you haven't noticed the new site design you're either blind, or maybe you've never been to the site before... Either way you have to admit that the new design is a veritable feast for the eyeballs!
